Objectionable Comments on Sonia in T-Assembly?

According to reports, certain “objectionable” comments were made against Congress president Sonia Gandhi by Telangana Deputy Cm T. Rajiah in the Legislative Assembly on Saturday. This turned house into a din and the house has been adjourned sine die. Rajiah reportedly made those remarks when Congress MLA Padmavathi dubbed Sonia as “Mother”and Telangana state as “Baby”. The members of Congress took strong objection to Rajiah’s remarks and rushed into Speaker’s podium.
Speaker Madhusudhana Chary interfered and stated the “objectionable” comments would be expunged from records. It all happened when Congress MLA Padmavathi said, “As a mother, despite knowing that she will lose her (political) life, Sonia delivered the baby (Telangana state). No doubt the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and others also played their part but it was the sole will of Sonia that ensured statehood for Telangana. We should be ever grateful to her.”
However, Rajaiah sought to justify his remarks, which led to uproar in the House. In between, Kishan Reddy blamed Congress for suicides of youth for Telangana. “More than 1200 youths sacrificed their lives for a separate state. The Congress was responsible for the killing of 369 people who demanded Telangana in 1969,” he pointed out.
