Writer Vakkantham Vamsi, who has penned the story of Jr NTR’s Temper that was directed by Puri Jagannadh, turned the film’s story into an English Novel. This is the first-time a Telugu feature film is being made into novel. Usually, it’s other way around as novels would be turn into films.
Billed to be a story of a corrupt cop who changes his path after learning about a heinous crime committed by villains gang. While the film is already being remade in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi, Vamsi decided to write it in English to take the story to a wider audience.
Vamsi has spent six to eight months to write the novel and what’s interesting is that the novel has a different ending unlike the feature film. The book will have a climax that Vamsi had originally conceived and he doesn’t want to reveal the suspense. Instead, he wants the readers to read his novel. The new climax according to Vamsi is more hard-hitting, honest. And the book will see more layers to protagonist Daya’s character.
