Right from the start of her career, heroine Nitya Menon is picking up some versatile roles that always gave jitters to cinema lovers. None expects her to do a physically handicapped character in Lawrence’s Kanchana 2 (Ganga in Telugu) but she took it like a challenge and impressed everyone.
Reports are now coming that Nitya has taken up yet another challenging role of her career for an upcoming Telugu film. Other day she revealed that her next Telugu film showcase her in a never before role, but a little birdie tells us that the character she enacted is literally shocking and may not find approval from Censor board.
Apparently, she’s said to have played the role of a lesbian in her upcoming film. And another shocking thing is that she’s paired with a Telugu heroine and both are likely to do a lip lock too. As Supreme Court has banned gay and lesbian sex by an order, it has to be seen whether this film will get a Censor certificate or not.
Anyway, cinema lovers who have come to know about the news of Nitya playing such role are just astonished by the very thought of this. We have to see if she will become that torchbearer of new age cinema.
