Even in its third week of release, the film maintains its impressive performance, consistently outdrawing the recently released pan-Indian film “Indian 2.” Audience reception remains overwhelmingly positive, with the grand visuals, Nag Ashwin’s visionary direction, and stellar acting captivating viewers. Notably, “Kalki 2898 AD” has grossed over 275 crores in the Hindi market alone, surpassing the lifetime Hindi collections of “RRR.”

The film’s expansive visual spectacle, fueled by Ashwin’s imaginative vision and the powerful performances of its cast, has left a lasting impression on audiences. This lighthearted anecdote, involving a significant decision worth hundreds of crores, offered a glimpse into Ashwin’s personality.

Produced by Ashwini Dutt for a staggering budget exceeding 600 crores and featuring music by Santosh Narayanan, “Kalki 2898 AD” has only covered roughly 40% of the story, according to Ashwin. The upcoming sequel promises an even greater dose of drama and action.

The confirmation of a second part leaves fans eagerly speculating about the continuation of the narrative. Prabhas reprises his role as Bhairava, while Amitabh Bachchan returns as Ashwatthama. The film also featured Kamal Haasan as the primary antagonist, Supreme Yashkin, and Deepika Padukone as Sumathi.
