Silver screen actors Jagapathi Babu, Navdeep and Swetha Basu Prasad have now stepped into a completely new business. Well, that’s neither a restaurant nor a pub but acting in original web series.
Jagapathi Babu is now really a happening character actor in Tollywood. He is taking ample space with prominent roles in many big films. Still, he is testing himself in Amazon Prime’s first Telugu original web series- “Gang Stars”.
Navdeep and Swetha Basu also played pivotal roles in the series. Lakshmi Bhupala, the ace writer who shot to fame with “Nene Raju Nenen Mantri” has penned the story and screenplay for this web series.
The posters of the first original web series in Telugu on Amazon Prime were released today while the trailer is hitting the web circuit tomorrow that is on 18th May. We have to see how this series engages the web audience. It is a proven fact that any web series which is only bold and different from regular main stream films will get better traction. Let us hope, this “Gang Stars” possess all the required ingredients to hook the online audience.
