All the Pongal releases are doing well accordingly in targeted areas. However, Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana is the only film that is performing well in all the centers and is going to be a genuine hit. The movie has landed in the second place at the worldwide box office in its first weekend in the business chart, pushing Dictator and Express Raja.
Soggade Chinni Nayana released late in the competition is ahead of other outings. With positive mouth talk, the family entertainer is running successfully with houseful collections everywhere. So, additional theaters are added for this movie in several areas. This means, other films are to lose theaters for Nag’s production venture.
Keeping his market value in mind, Nagarjuna spent only decent budget on Soggade Chinni Nayana, although production values are good. In fact, Nagarjuna spent money at only needed areas. They didn’t go for any exotic foreign locations and the film was mostly shot in Telugu states. The Kalyan Krishna directorial got limited theaters in several areas, because of heavy competition. Owing to heavy rush for the film, extra theaters are added.
After a long time, a full length family entertainer in rural backdrop has come. Hence, families are giving first priority to Nagarjuna’s film, out of Sankranthi releases. In fact, films with good entertainment will always do magic at box office.
