Expressing regret over his derogatory comments on the Governor of the Telugu states, ESL Narasimhan, Andhra Pradesh Minister of Labour Achennaidu has apologized to the Governor and said that he is taking back his words if the Governor is hurt by his comments. In a press meet lambasting the TRS government and other TRS leaders yesterday, Achennaidu also fumed at the Governor and accused him of favoring the TRS party and KCR like a ‘Gangireddu’.
Achennaidu also criticized Governor for failing to implement and cornering the AP CM in the cash for vote scandal and the following phone tapping row. “You should not nod your head like a gangireddu to all the decisions taken by the KCR (Telangana) government. You should be impartial to both the states” was the minister’s comment. Soon after these harsh comments, Narasimhan was rumoured to be deeply upset.
Ever since the cash for vote scandal broke out, Governor Narasimhan has been under intense pressure from the TDP leaders to implement the section-8 as per constitution. Narasimhan was also asked by the centre to report the entire row between the TDP and TRS and finds himself stuck in a triangular tangle between the TDP, TRS and the centre.
It is high time that our politicians learnt their ways to behave sensibly in public forums and that too while talking about distinguished people, any negative or irresponsible comment from them will only cause more harm to their political reputation.
