Ranveer & Prasanth Varma’s Project Not Off The Table!
Hyderabad, India – Director Prasanth Varma has emerged as a leading creative force in Indian cinema. Following the phenomenal success of his superhero film “Hanu-Man,” which garnered over 300 crores and critical acclaim, Varma has become a sought-after director. His earlier works, “Awe!,” “Zombie Reddy,” and “Kalki,” established his talent for genre-bending and innovative storytelling.
“Hanu-Man” not only became a box-office success, but also showcased Varma’s ability to deliver a superhero film unlike any seen before in Indian cinema. This accomplishment propelled him into the spotlight, attracting interest from numerous producers and actors.
Varma’s success caught the attention of Bollywood, with rumors swirling about a collaboration with Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh. Reports suggested a pre-independence era film titled “Rakshas,” with Singh potentially playing a captivating lead character.

Singh is currently committed to “Don 3” under Farhan Akhtar’s direction and “Singham Again.” Varma, meanwhile, is in the scripting stage for “Jai Hanuman” and actively working on “Octopus,” featuring Anupama Parameswaran.
The potential collaboration between Varma and Singh for “Rakshas” continues to intrigue audiences.
