The Telugu remake of a popular series on Netflix, Lust Stories, is underway. The original anthology had Kiara Advani, Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, and Manisha Koirala playing the lead roles in each segment with Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee, directing it respectively.
It was already reported that Tollywood directors Nandini Reddy, Sandeep Reddy, Sankalp Reddy, and Tharun Bhascker will be helming the four segments under the production of Bollywood’s Ronnie Screwvala.
The latest we hear is RX100 director has opted out of the project and the makers are still in search of a replacement for Sandeep. Besides Sandeep’s part, the rest of the three segments has completed the shooting part.
For being one of the boldest series in India, Lust Stories received huge appreciation as well as the negative feedback. It remains to be seen how the Telugu remake will entertain the audience.
