Majili starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the lead roles, is their fourth film together and first after wedding.
This film is carrying very positive buzz, all thanks to the teaser that was out on the eve of Valentine’s Day. This buzz has helped ‘Majili’ to get good money in the form of satellite, digital and Hindi dubbing rights.
Popular entertainment channel, Gemini TV has bagged the television rights for ₹5 crore while Amazon Prime Video got the digital rights for ₹3.5 crore.
Also these days there is a craze for Telugu movies which get dubbed in Hindi. So makers of ‘Majili’ sold the Hindi dubbing rights for ₹4 crore.
Overall the producers pocketed ₹12.5 crore way before the release and this is really a big thing.
Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, ‘Majili’ is produced by Shine Screens banner and is gearing up for release on April 5th.
