Manjula Ghattamaneni who is the daughter of Superstar Krishna and elder sister of Mahesh Babu recently tested her luck as a film director. She has impressed the fans as a producer and actress but failed as a director if the result is anything to go by.
Manjula made her directorial debut with Manasuku Nachindi movie starring Sandeep Kishan and Amyra Dastur which became a disaster at the box office. Even Mahesh Babu’s voiceover hasn’t helped the film from biting the dust. Everyone thought that it would be her last film but Manjula is not giving up any sooner.
Buzz has that she is all set to start a new project. She already has a script ready and is now busy casting. As per the reports, she approached two young heroes and narrated the script. Though one of them rejected it, the other young hero has given his nod. He is none other than Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda. We hear that he loved the premise of the story and readily accepted Manjula’s proposal.
Despite her debut film becoming a disaster, it seems like the star image of both Krishna and Mahesh Babu is working big time. Let’s see if Manjula proves herself with her second movie.
