Nayanthara is referred to as ‘Lady Superstar’ and she definitely deserves it. She has been in the film industry for two decades now and she is nearing her forties. At this age, many actresses tend to fade away but Nayan is still going strong and bagging big projects with star heroes along with heroine-oriented films. Her versatility and acting prowess helped her stay on top of the game even today.

The ‘Bigil’ actress is currently working on multiple projects and the talk in Chennai is that she is receiving jaw-dropping remuneration for these films. Sources say that Nayan is demanding nearly ten crores per film. While many are getting shocked, producers are fine with giving her such a huge paycheque. This is massive as some of the medium-level heroes do not get such big remuneration.

Many expected Trisha to be in the No.1 spot in terms of highest remuneration latterly but it is Nayanthara who is still on top with her unmatchable craze. She struck the right balance of making commercial movies along with concept-based movies impressed the audience big time. While her counterparts like Kajal, Pooja Hegde, and Anushka Shetty are taking 3-4 crores per film, it is Nayanthara who is taking the highest remuneration and is still working under her own set of rules.

There are analysts suggesting that not every film can become highly successful and producers will start to look for other options if some of Nayan’s films fail. But looking at how Nayan continued her journey over the years on her terms and outlasted many star heroines like Kajal, Tamannah, Asin, Genelia and others, we can see her staying in a league of her own for the next couple of years. She has been getting Bollywood offers lately as well.
