In a startling revelation, slain terror chieftain and architect of 9/11 attacks Osama Bin Laden had written several letters to his wives, closed ones and even released videotaped wills. In one of the wills, Laden has asked one of his wives to “remarry” after his death but still wanted her to live beside him in “paradise”.

Among documents gathered from his compound in Pakistan after US Navy SEALs stormed the building and shot him to death, the overall message of the 103 letters, videos has been made public by the United States on Wednesday. In one of the videotaped wills,  Bin Laden sent a strong yet romantic message to his loved wife.

In a video to one of his wives, also described as bin Laden’s “last will,” Laden tells her “you are the apple of my eye, and the most precious thing that I have in this world.” Bin Laden says he has no objection to her remarrying after his death, “but I really want for you to be my wife in paradise” and reminds her that a wife who has married twice “is given a choice on Judgment Day.

Laden’s letters, video messages had confirmed that he was on a downward spiral then and clearly annoyed due to infighting in al-Qaida.
