One wonders why KCR’s son and IT minister K T Rama Rao is attacking Prime Minister Modi in TRS party’s campaign for GHMC polls in the city. KTR, who is leading the TRS campaign for GHMC polls, is not sparing Modi while addressing the public in every other meeting in the city. Normally, in GHMC elections, one is expected to take up issues concerning Hyderabad like better civic amenities, infrastructure facilities etc. But KTR is confining most part of his speech to attack Modi.
“During the last 18 months, Modi found time to tour 100 countries. But he has no time to tour 29 states in India. People in many states had no opportunity to see the face of Prime Minister Modi so far,” KTR remarked at a function in city. In another meeting, KTR said, “Is Telangana not part of India? Why Modi is not visiting the newly formed Telangana State despite repeated invites from Telangana government?”
KTR demanded Modi and BJP leaders to disclose how many states in India Modi had visited so far.”It seems Modi believes that he was made PM by Indians only to visit foreign countries and not to address the issues faced by Indians. People are vexed with his foreign tours.
For this reason, BJP has been receiving the drubbing in all the elections being held for the last 18 months. BJP suffered defeat even in Modi’s own state Gujarat,” KTR remarked.
