KTR invites Bengaluru IT companies with tweets!

Bengaluru was South India’s first IT hub, with almost every name being present in the city. The city continues to be the first choice for many investors, who then look to Hyderabad if Bengaluru falls off. Of late, the city seems to be getting in a lot of trouble, especially for tech companies, and those working in them, with the employees complaining about the bad roads, and the terrible traffic.

Recently, a start-up company founder complained about the roads, the traffic, the frequent power cuts, and the lack of proper infrastructure in the city. Also, he commented on how it takes three hours to get to the airport from anywhere. Taking an opportunity, Telangana IT minister KTR chimed in, tweeting to the said founder, offering him to shift to Hyderabad – with the company – stating that Hyderabad has good infrastructure, and the kind of commute system that lets anyone go in and out of the city very easily, not to mention the fact that a trip to the airport is a lot more convenient.

The opposition of Congress, in Karnataka, didn’t take this especially well, with Congress leader Priyanka Kharge warning Chief Minister Basavaraju Bommai to be alert and to develop the infrastructure in the city, and warned him that the lack of doing just that might cost the city a lot of IT companies.
