The rift between Kona Venkat and Srinu Vytla seems to be taking a toll on earlier because latter disappeared from the scene succumbing to ‘Bruce Lee’ disastrous pressure. On the other side, Kona has to stay in the market for three reasons. One for the sake of ‘Akhil,’ second for ‘Tripura’ and third for ‘Sankarabharanam’ as Kona is acting as writer and presenter for the last. However, Kona’s recent comments on Vytla blaming him for changing the overall ‘Bruce Lee’ script ignited the cold war between them again.
While some are questioning on why is Kona stressing only on ‘Bruce Lee’ in spite of his last two disasters ‘Akhil’ and ‘Tripura.’ He has to agree a fact that, so called Vytla-Kona template no more finds any of the takers. If Kona has to come back in demand and bring back his lost glory… everything lies in the hands of ‘Sankarabharanam.’ Inspired largely from Hindi film ‘Phas Gaya Re Obama,’ in fact Kona purchased the Telugu remake rights of this flick and made necessary changes to suit Telugu flavor with story running in Bihar backdrop. Let us see, how far ‘Sankarabharanam’ re-instills industry confidence on Kona.
