Celebs often ignore the fact that a lot of people follow their every moment closely and expect them to carry a clean image. That’s the reason behind a lot of police cases against noted film personalities and the rise of such incidents in the recent past is a dangerous trend.
Star writer Kona Venkat was booked for drunken driving at Banjara Hills on Friday when the cops found him in an inebriated condition while they were conducting a special drive against drink and driving in the city. While the permissible limit of Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was 30 mg per ml, Mr Kona was found to be having 40 mg per ml.
A case of drunken drive was booked against the writer and his vehicle has been detained. Cops have informed that Kona Venkat was asked to attend a counseling session at Traffic Training Institute in Goshamahal and later he will be produced in court.
Kona Venkat is planning to wield a megaphone very soon.
