Even though Kodandaram had not have any plans to contest polls, he now seems to have changed his mind upon persistent pressure from his party leaders and leaders from Maha Kutami. As per the latest reports, Kodandaram is toying with the idea of contesting from Ramagundam Assembly constituency in Peddapalli district, i.e in erstwhile Karimnagar district.
While the original plan was to stay away from contesting the election and to campaign for the candidates of grand alliance in all the constituencies to aid their victory, however, the plan has been changed. Unless Kodandaram drops his fresh plan, it is most likely confirmed that he would be in fray from Ramagundam.
Given his individual stature and following among students and people, it is expected that he would emerge victorious. TJS, TDP, CPI along with Congress are turning into headache for KCR. Let’s wait and see, what’s in store.
