KCR Worrying Over Kodandaram’s Party?

Although the ruling TRS is boasting confidence, inside news is that the pink party is worrying a lot. While there is a lot of negative against TRS in rural parts, ignoring such vital issues, KCR is after national politics and Federal Front to unite forces against Narendra Modi-led BJP. On one hand, KTR is quite busy with urban development and is busy focusing his development work in and around Hyderabad.

Meantime, the arrival of the former T-JAC chairman and founder Prof. Kodandaram into politics and launch of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) is also sending shivers to TRS leaders. Though there was a strong Telangana sentiment during 2014 poll campaign and public are happy with the announcement of the statehood by Congress, government employees and various unions had all supported TRS in the state’s first-ever general elections. The decision was almost unanimous and TRS stormed into power in Telangana. But things have swiftly changed and differences had surfaced between KCR and Kodandaram.

Now, Kodandaram is said to be targeting votes of employees, dalits, backward regions and rural parts of Telangana to eat into TRS votes. While T-JAC is yet to build its party and strengthen its members, still, it is likely to show its own impact even if the general elections are held in Telangana today.

While Kodandaram is close to Congress, reports also indicate that he could forge an alliance with the Opposition Congress.
