KCR Serious, MLA Apologises to Lady Collector

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today, yet again, proved his govt is serious about protecting women rights. Read on…

Taking a serious note of Television visuals showing Mahabubabad MLA Shankar Naik pulling the shoulder of district collector Preeti Meena at Haritha Haram event, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has today blew a fuse against him.

Quickly after the legislator’s improper behavior came to light, govt employees in various departments staged a protest by wearing black ribbons and demanded an action from Chief Minister. Angered with bad conduct of Shankar Naik, KCR has reportedly ordered him to tender a quick apology for his actions.

Immediately after honorable CM’s instruction, Shankar Naik reached Preeti Meena’s office and offered unconditional apology for his misbehavior. He spoke to media and said that he has got no bad intentions behind pulling her. ‘I am also an educated with a good family,’ he added.

In a bid to settle the issue from his part, KCR asked Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari and MP Sitaram Naik to communicate with the collector on behalf of government.

Apparently, this is going to be one incident where opposition parties, who are waiting in the wings, are going to take a swipe to MLA and TRS party.
