Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members are keen to celebrate Dussera festival at Kanakadurga temple, atop Indrakiladri in Vijayawada this year.
KCR tentatively scheduled to visit Vijayawada between September 28 to 30, during Vijaya Dasami celebrations in Kanakadurga temple. He will present gold nose stud to Durga goddess as part of fulfilling his vows for realizing the long cherished dream of Telangana state. KCR already released Rs 75 lakh to design the nose stud.
During his stay, KCR accompanied by his family members will perform special pujas to Durga goddess. The chief minister already fulfilled the other vows including presentation of gold mustache to Lord Veerabhadra Swamy in Kuravi in Mahabubabad district. He also gifted necklace and haram to Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirupati.
