It’s exactly two years for the formation of the new state of Telangana and celebrations are all over the place in the state with surplus budget. As the state is prepped up for its second anniversary, the city of Pearls has been decked up by lights.The government of Telangana is spending a bomb on the publicity. While it’s spending around Rs 20 Crore to Rs 30 Crore for celebrations, it’s learnt that it has spent another Rs 50 Crore (approximately) on print, TV, radio and outdoor publicity. The TS government is publicizing its achievements and its implementations in the new state.
Unarguably, KCR’s two-year rule has more credits than failures. Both in governing the state and strengthening the party, KCR has clearly made his mark. In almost all the elections that were held aftermath of the state formation, TRS shown its total dominance.Veering towards the power crisis, KCR was a winner. In fact, Telangana was not a power surplus state like the successor state of AP at the time of formation. And KCR smartly overcame the power crisis.
Taking everyone by surprise, within a few months of his rule, the power supply scenario took a complete U-turn in Telangana, and 24X7 supply was ensured throughout the state. How he managed to do could be a debatable point. But, the people at large finally heaved a sigh of relief. This is one of the remarkable achievements of the TRS government that kept KCR and his party in good books of people. On other hand, the Telangana state government is leaving no stone unturned in implementing Irrigation schemes and constructing several irrigation projects keeping the state’s future demands in mind.It’s no surprise that he’s been chosen as Most Popular CM in the country in the public voting.
