This Dasara, it’s going to get interesting like a Sankranthi at Telugu box office. We have some big ticket films lined up and fans got all the emotions charged for them. Is there any last minute change in the lineup, that will be found later, but here is an early change that could happen.
On September 21st we have Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa coming up while Mahesh Babu’s Spyder is all set for 27th release. Following these two films, Balayya’s 101st movie Paisa Vasool is set for September 29th to hit the marquee. With Jr NTR creating a storm with Jai character’s teaser, this KS Ravindra directorial got all the attention. Same is the case with Murugadoss crafted Spyder as the film’s sci-fi side is impressive. And the combination of Puri Jagan and Balayya itself is pretty amazing, as one is known for power-house dialogues and other one is a ‘baap’ of it. All three films are carrying pretty much big hype only.
But when films’ releases are knitted closely, then there will be a dent in revenues in the present times where ticket-hikes and lack of theatres are affecting collections big time. With buyers are also little worried about the placement of these films, we hear that Paisa Vasool is thinking to pull out of the race. And there are chances likely to advance the release date.
Baabai Balayya’s presence in a week post Jai Lava Kusa release will be a threat to Jr NTR as well. Latest update is that Paisa Vasool will be moved to September 1st as Puri Jagan is confident of wrapping total post-production work by that time. In that case, if Balayya unleashes strength early, two weeks of preponement is likely to help all other films too, but what about those others eyeing 1st September date like Sai Dharam’s Jawan?
