Generally national media are the one that focuses a lot on Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy though they don’t focus much on ongoing agitations in Seemandhra region. But now YSR Congress president’s fame has reached international media like BBC too.
Talking about the point straight, BBC India mentioned that MP Jagan Reddy freed from prison after sixteen months before he got arrested corruption, cheating and other charges. BBC has mentioned that Jagan is son of charismatic former CM YSR Reddy who died in a helicopter crash. Also BBC pointed out that Jagan was denied CM post by Congress, and the MP started his own party then. Apart from BBC at international level, national media like CNN IBN, ND TV and Times Now spoke a lot about Jagan’s release and the changing political dynamics of Andhra Pradesh.
The curiosity of international media about the Indian MP could be clearly observed but one will wonder why. Some say Jagan’s popularity in national media and his close association with NDTV is fetching him a lot which any other Andhra Pradesh is lacking.
