Get Ready For Storm In Tollywood For 6 Months!

May 3, 2024

The Telugu film industry, Tollywood, has witnessed a sluggish start to 2024 with only a few notable releases like “Guntur Karam” and “Hanuman” arriving so far. While “Hanuman” achieved blockbuster status, other releases like “Family Star” haven’t fared as well. However, the upcoming months promise a cinematic storm as major stars are set to grace the silver screen.

Prabhas leads the charge with his highly anticipated sci-fi film “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, releasing on June 27th. Reports suggest Kamal Haasan’s “Indian 2” is slated for a June 13th release, followed by Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 109th film directed by Bobby in July.

The Independence Day weekend belongs to Allu Arjun’s magnum opus, “Pushpa: The Rule,” which is scheduled to hit theaters globally on August 15th. Pawan Kalyan’s action drama “OG,” directed by Sujeeth, will be released on September 27th, followed by NTR’s highly anticipated “Devara” written and directed by Koratala Siva on October 10th.

Ram Charan and Shankar’s collaboration, “Game Changer,” is expected to arrive in November, while Pawan Kalyan’s period drama “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” directed by Krish, marks his first historical film and is expected to release later in the year.

With these major releases lined up, the next six months hold immense promise for Tollywood, potentially creating box office wonders and captivating audiences nationwide.
