What More Surprises Does Vassishta Hold For Vishwambhara?

May 16, 2024

Director Mallidi Vassishta’s upcoming movie “Vishwambhara” featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi has become a hotbed of speculation. The socio-fantasy epic, starring Chiranjeevi and Trisha, boasts a hefty budget and a promise of extravagant visuals. Vassishta, known for his historical epic “Bimbisara,” seems intent on raising the bar with “Vishwambhara,” but what surprises lurk beneath the film’s grand facade?

The recent casting of yesteryear heroine Khushboo has only fueled the anticipation. While details about her role remain a mystery, fans are excited to see her reunite with Chiranjeevi and Trisha, mirroring their collaboration in AR Murugadoss’ “Stalin” two decades ago. However, “Stalin’s” lackluster box office performance has introduced a note of caution. Can “Vishwambhara” live up to the immense hype?

The film’s secrecy adds another layer of intrigue. The staggering number of sets being constructed (rumored to be 13) hints at a visually stunning experience, but some fans worry it might overshadow the story itself. Vassishta remains tight-lipped, leaving audiences to piece together the true surprises “Vishwambhara” holds. With a stellar cast, a talented crew, and
the Oscar-winning music of MM Keeravani, “Vishwambhara” has the potential to be a blockbuster.

But can it redefine the socio-fantasy genre and deliver the cinematic spectacle it promises? Only January 10th, 2025 will reveal the answer. One thing is certain: moviegoers won’t want to miss this grand unveiling.
