The office of Telangana Director General of Police Mahender Reddy on Tuesday has received an anonymous call. It was a bomb threat for Faluknama Palace where Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted dinner to Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump and Advisor to White House. The call had it that bombs were planted throughout the Faluknama Palace and they could go off any time. This naturally worried the entire state police and intelligence officers who took it very seriously.
Throughout Tuesday, the bomb threat has kept the entire police department on toes. However, it later proved that it was a hoax call and the police department, NIA and all other security officials heaved a huge sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Telangana government is so serious over this hoax call. The government doesn’t want to leave the matter and started a probe over the incident.
Prima facie has it that the call was done from Old City of Hyderabad. Police officials have ordered for a detailed probe. More details are yet to be known. Government is planning to nab the people behind the call and bring them to book.
