Tollywood is going to have a very hectic Sankranti season in 2022. As we know, Rajamouli’s magnum opus pan-Indian film ‘RRR’ is getting released on 7th January. Everyone knows about the hype surrounding this movie and the makers are promoting this film on a pan-Indian scale. Heroes Ram Charan and NTR are giving interviews and visiting major cities all across the country while Rajamouli himself is attending popular television shows.
After that, Prabhas is going to arrive on 14th January with his epic romantic drama ‘Radhe Shyam’. Pooja Hegde is the heroine in this high-budget film directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. There are a lot of expectations on this film because of Prabhas. The star hero is arriving after a gap of over two years. The songs and teaser have garnered a very good response. With these two big films arriving during the Pongal season, fans are going to have a huge feast at the theatres.
Releasing a film along with ‘RRR’ is a huge risk in itself but rumors suggest that King Nagarjuna is all set to complete with ‘RRR’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’. Grapevine suggests that his family entertainer ‘Bangarraju’ is going to release on 15th January. Insiders say that there is a high chance of this film arriving during the Sankranti festival to cash in on the big season. As we know, Naga Chaitanya is also the male lead in the movie and Kalyan Krishna Kurasala is the director. Ramya Krishnan and Krithi Shetty are the female leads in this film. As we know, ‘Bangarraju’ is the sequel of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ which came during the Pongal season in 2016 and turned out to be a huge hit. We need to wait and see if ‘Bangarraju’ hits the screens on 15th January and faces star heroes like Prabhas, NTR and Charan or not.
Nagarjuna is waiting to score a hit for a really long time. Naga Chaitanya on the other hand is enjoying the success of ‘Love Story’. Akkineni fans are eagerly waiting for the father-son duo to take the box office by storm. The latest song from the album came out and is getting millions of views.
