Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Janardhan Poojary came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaction against the corrupt Cabinet Ministers & CMs of BJP.
Speaking at press conference, Janardhan Poojary compared Modi to Dushasana and Union Cabinet to Duryodhana. ‘Developments in Lok Sabha reminded me of Mahabharat. While BJP Members are Kauravas, Congress & Other Opposition MPs are fighting against injustice just alike Pandavas. If India is Draupadi, Modi is like Dushasana and his Cabinet is Duryodhana. Media plays the role of Sri Krishna here,‘ he said, adding Modi-led BJP meets the fate of Duryodhana soon.
Janardhan Poojary complained NDA Government is curtailing the freedom of Opposition to raise questions and protest against the wrongdoings of the people in power. He expressed the view that the style of functioning of Centre isn’t good for Democracy.
The Congress Leader reacted in this manner protesting the suspension of 25 party MPs by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on grounds of disrupting the Parliament proceedings.
