Hyderabad Metro Train Ticket Details

Hyderabad Metro Rail project has been delayed by months due to various reasons and now finally the good news is here. Telangana Chief Minister KCR recently invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Hyderabad Metro and he gave his nod.

Hyderabad Metro will start its operations from November 28th and the first phase has been extended for 28 kms between Miyapur and Nagole. The managing director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, NVS Reddy revealed that the developer L&T will submit the proposals about the fares after which the Telangana government will take a call.

The fares are expected to be approved in October informed Reddy. The price band varied between Rs 8 and Rs 19 during 2011. After the Metro project kick started, Telangana minister KTR revealed that the price band would be estimated between Rs 13 and Rs 25.

As per the latest update, the price band will vary between Rs 20 and Rs 50. A seamless smart card along with a metro app will be launched for users. Telangana government agreed to build skyways for crossing the roads to the metro commuters.
