Almost all the distributors in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and in Overseas region are eagerly waiting for two films, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which are set for Jan 11th and 12th release. And with Mahesh Babu’s film coming a day in advance, trade circuits are stressing that there will be a huge advantage for the movie.
Firstly the single screen theatres will be screening only Sarileru Neekevvaru on the release day, though some of them will switch to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo next day. That gives an edge to Mahesh Babu to register maximum collections in Telugu states as many theatres will be screening it. But then, the morning show talk is very important because there are instances where Mahesh’s film ran empty on the Second show due to the talk erupting from the morning show.
Cut to Overseas, it is a proven fact that Mahesh Babu has a huge craze in this arena as many audiences love to catch up on his films in the theatre. And with tickets priced at a higher side of $21, surely the premieres and first day collections are going to record high we have to say. Also, all the available theatres in prime locations like Dallas and California that usually screen Telugu movies will be filled with Sarileru Neekevvaru for a day, while some will be replacing it with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo next day.
