The Government in Telangana State led by the TRS boss KCR and at the same time that of the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh have completed their first six months with today and this marks a unique phase. The governments in AP and Telangana are the ones that have come up after bifurcation for the first time in 60 years and they carry a lot of burden, hopes, promises and anxiety.
Usually the first six months are considered as honeymoon period for any state or central government. And while Chandrababu has started his successful streak by improving power situation, he is still facing the wrath over farm loan waiver. While KCR is presiding over the golden goose of Hyderabad, he is yet to get grips with the administration.
And keeping aside all the brickbats and laurels for both CM’s, their actual time to prove themselves starts now and all eyes are on them given the castles they have built in air and how much the Centre would cooperate.
