The release of this film after the happening of Bigg Boss poured fuel to the rumors that Siva Balaji, who earned Rs 50 lakhs prize money, invested on the film, and lost all his money.
When the actor was asked for a clarification on these rumors in a recent interview, he neither confirmed nor denied to have burnt his hands with the film, and instead said that he doesn’t pay much attention to speculations.
