Naga Chaitanya Stars in Upcoming Rural Action Drama “Thandel”
Hyderabad, India – Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, “Thandel,” a rural action drama directed by the acclaimed Chandoo Mondeti. The film promises to be a high-octane experience with a touch of patriotism woven into the narrative.
Chaitanya takes on the role of a fisherman in “Thandel,” a character that demanded a significant physical transformation. He underwent extensive training to embody the character and perfect the Srikakulam dialect spoken in the film’s setting.
The film draws inspiration from the real-life story of Raju, a fisherman who spent nearly two years imprisoned in Pakistan after accidentally entering their waters.
