Apart from the loyal Congress supporters, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has amassed a large group of detractors who constantly take potshots at his inefficient political acumen. In order to strengthen his political efficiency and win people’s trust, Rahul time and again faltered with several ridiculous strategies.
Now, this ‘young’ Gandhi scion is at the prestigious Hyderabad Central University to participate in a candle light protest and the day long hunger strike following the suicide of young PhD scholar Rohith Vemula. Rahul’s attempts to gain minorities and students’ support invited an intense criticism from his opponents.
In the past too, Rahul, who never showed much interest towards Telugu politics even when the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state was burning during the separate Telangana movement, visited Ananthapur and Adilabad last year to attack the ruling parties in both the states following the series of farmers’ suicides.
Rahul’s strategies are much alike his predecessors in the Congress party, who resorted to such dirty politics. With his latest move, Rahul is once again proving that he is just an ignorant novice when it comes to respecting sensitive issues. One can’t help but say, grow up, Rahul!
