It is good news for S/O Satyamurthy buyers that have invested so many crores in the film. There won’t be any hurdles for SOS until two weeks as other movies opted to move out of its way. Earlier Kamal Haasan’s Uthama Villain was slated for April 10th release, but it has been postponed indefinitely.
Naga Chaitanya’s Crime Thriller Dohchay also has been pushed by a week as per latest updates. As of now there aren’t any big releases slated for April 17th, which means S/O Satyamurthy will have ground clear for at least fifteen days from its release date (April 9th).
Dohchay will be released on April 24th and some of the notable films have been pushed to May. All Allu Arjun needs is decent talk to make the most of summer vacation. Last year Race Gurram made merry at the box office due to nil competition and the scene looks similar for S/O Satyamurthy too.
This film could go on to become first blockbuster hit of this year if the talk and reviews comes in favor of it. SOS has to earn more than 55 crores from the theatricals to be termed as a hit. Therefore having fifteen days of space at the box office is going to be a big boon for it.
