For an actor who has almost done 100+ films as a lead, there should be no question of financial crunch. But he has lost almost everything he earned and changed his path now to earn something at least. We are talking about talented hero Jagapathi Babu who is looking at character-roles now. So, what happened to his ‘financial’ life anyway?
“I believed in friendship a lot and that’s how I lost the most of money”, says Jagapathi Babu candidly. “Many producers have to my help and I’ve signed wherever they wanted to owing to friendship. Despite of my dad’s repeated warnings, I’ve hooked on to these friends and finally burnt my hands”, he added. “Due to this generosity, my dad too lost everything and I’m no exception”. Everyone knows that Jagapathi Banner owned by Jagapathi Babu’s father used to produce many hit films but that is not operational now.
“We are not business minded, so that led to shutdown of the banner”, Jagapathi stressed. The actor has however quoted sometime back that he will collect back every single penny he lost by becoming the busiest character-artist in Tollywood. And he is living up to it. Jagapathi will be seen in today’s release Current Theega and Nov 14 releasing Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham. Apart from that he is busy with Rajnikanth’s Lingaa and Mahesh-Koratala movie.
