In a major twist to the ‘cardiac arrest’ episode of veteran actress Sridevi who breathed her last on the evening of February 24th, the forensic report has given a major shocker.
Earlier it was told that Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor found her motionless in the bathtub of her room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers. However, the forensic autopsy done by Dubai Government has reported that she died of “Accidental Drowning”. And that explains that Sridevi drowned in the bathtub and got choked, and with water entering her lungs, she breathed last.
According to the report published on some national channels, Sridevi is said to be under alcohol influence and fell down in the bathroom tub. They reported that traces of alcohol are found in her blood though it’s not there in the forensic report. A couple of channels reported that UAE police are extremely tight-lipped about the whole report.
An update is that UAE police will be taking a decision on whether to release the body to family members or not because forensic reports indicate that further investigation should be done. Also in a 50:50 chance, police might handover the body to Kapoors after embalming process is done. But if police decide to go for a further investigation, then the body sending procedure will be delayed.
Another breaking news is that phone records of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor are being currently examined.
