It has been close to 2 years since Anu Emmanuel was last seen in a Telugu film. Her last film Shailaja Reddy Alludu released back in 2018. The young actress is pinning high hopes on her upcoming Telugu film, Alludu Adhurs which has Bellamkonda Srinivas in the lead role.
Going into the story, Anu Emmanuel was apparently approached by Aha team for a web series.
Reportedly, a debutante is set to direct this web series and the makers felt Anu Emmanuel would suit the subject and initiated talks with the Malayali beauty.
Interestingly, Anu quoted a remuneration of Rs 2 lakh per episode if she is to star in the web series. There is no update as to the number of episodes in the series. This is a fancy quote for a young actress who is presently in a lean phase of her career.
Team Aha is yet to take the final call on casting Anu Emmanuel. Further developments in this regard will take some time. We need to wait and see if Aha will oblige to Anu Emmanuel’s demand and bring her on board for the project. More details are awaited.
