Ego Clashes Between Top Heroines?

Chennai lass Trisha Krishnan hit headlines following she had walked out of Vikram’s “Saamy Square”, allegedly due to rising actress Keerthy Suresh.

“Saamy Square” is the sequel of “Saamy”, a Vikram starrer and Hari directorial. The prequel became a blockbuster in Tamil and was remade in Telugu with Balakrishna as ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’. 15 years after the release of first part, director Hari and Vikram have recently taken the sequel onto floors. Trisha, who played the female lead in the first part, was retained in the sequel too. Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play another leading lady.

Soon after the film’s first schedule was completed, Trisha shocked the makers by walking out of the film. She cited ‘creative differences’ for her walkout.

Tamil media however is abuzz that Trisha was miffed with the makers for giving more prominence to Keerthy than her. This has allegedly upset the once-top actress and hence she staged a walkout.

People in the know say that there is nothing wrong in makers’ giving more importance to Keerthy as she is the current sensation in Kollywood compared to Trisha, who doesn’t enjoy star heroine status anymore. They reportedly say that Trisha’s walkout will hurt her career more than “Saamy Square” makers as it was the biggest film she had in her kitty.
