After falling in love with London based musician Michael Corsale, heroine Shruti Haasan hasn’t signed any movie down south. Despite being a star heroine for whom producers are ready to pay a couple of crores, she has suddenly ditched this career, finding love with her music career. But it looks like things haven’t gone exactly as planned.
Taking that as a sabbatical that taught her many lessons, Shruti is back to films post the music career and signed Vijay Sethupathi’s Labam. She may sign a bunch of Telugu films as well now. But one wonders why Michael Corsale is responsible for Shruti not signing the movies. Somehow many actresses chose to give up their career for their boyfriends, but after a breakup, they again fall back into the old line.
The likes of Dimple Kapadia, Shruti’s mother Sarika, Katrina Kaif, Anika Lokhande, Hansika, Renu Desai and the very superstar Nayantara are some of the examples of this phenomenon. Now Shurit has joined the league.
