Bubbly beauty Rakul Preet Singh asks media not to compare her with Nayanthara. Rakul has made this statement out of great reverence for the Lady Superstar of South film industry.
Even though Mahesh Babu’s “SPYder” failed to establish Rakul in Tamil film industry, Karthi’s latest film, “Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru” (Tamil version of Khakee) did it for her. The film has become a decent commercial and critical success in Kollywood, winning rave reviews for Rakul’s performance too.
During the film’s success meet, when Rakul was asked if she aspires to become a superstar like Nayan in Kollywood, Rakul politely replied, “Don’t compare me with Nayanthara, she is a senior actress to me. She has played many challenging roles, carried entire films on her shoulders, and won box office as well as critics. I have yet to play such challenging roles.”
Meanwhile, Rakul is likely to sign Ram Charan-Boyapati film.
