It is not uncommon to use a line that goes like ‘heroine just fills up the glamour space’ or ‘glam doll role’ in many instances while writing or talking about our regional films. Naa Peru Surya turned out to be giving a literal sense to those lines in every possible scene.
We have many beautiful actresses, who are also great performers too in Telugu. But Naa Peru Surya actress Anu Emmanuel is not a great performer, yet. She seems to be the ‘latest craze’ of Tollywood that filmmakers usually go after until she acts with all the lead heroes, irrespective of the content and verdict of the films.
Talking about Naa Peru Surya, Anu Emmanuel undoubtedly looked just hot but failed to look like a true lover for whom our hero falls for. Her sleazy looks and single expression blank face failed to make an ‘impact’ really. While it is Allu Arjun’s show all the way, the love story part can be called a damp squib.
Looks like the girl who is on a signing spree, still got a lot of time to talk about her dream roles, like most of our heroines ask about playing Priyanka in Barfi or a Rani Mukherjee in Blind. Maybe she should be improving her acting and dancing skills than to rely on doll face and hot shows before it is too late. If she goes on doing the same for every film, heroes may not want to act with her and directors follow them.
