Experienced director Satish Vegesna is in need of a good hit right now. He made a national award-winning film like ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ under Dil Raju’s production in 2018 but he is not able to deliver another hit after that.
He made ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ with Nithiin and Raashi Khanna in the lead but the film’s preachy approach did not go down well with the audience. His recent outing ‘Entha Manchivaadavu Ra’ with Kalyan Ram too ended up being a failure.
It looks like this director decided to step out of the family genre and make a hilarious entertainer once again. He made his directorial debut with ‘Dongala Bandi’ which featured most of the comedians in Tollywood during that time. Now, he is making a film titled ‘Kothi Kommachi’ which is said to be high on comedy and entertainment. The shooting has kick-started recently and the director is hoping that this film will put an end to his rough streak.
