Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao is out of political affairs for some time now. The former minister of state for coal is not active in politics; ever since the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had slapped money laundering charges against him in connection with its probe in the Coal blocks allocation case.
If a latest grapevine is to be believed, Dasari Narayana Rao who got invitation from YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is willing to join the party. On the other hand, Jagan wants to give foremost importance to state’s strongest social group- Kapu. It is heard that, Jagan has a gut feeling that, it is tough to win in the next election, without the support of Kapus.
Jagan met Dasari Narayana Rao and both said to have discussed few things related to politics and current circumstances in the state. This meeting has given various meanings for gossipmongers and has become hot topic in political circles. Meanwhile, YSR Congress party activists are hoping Dasari to join the party.
On the flip side, Dasari tried to move close to Power Star Pawan Kalyan. The former congress leader who has communication gap with Chiranjeevi has plans to make a film with Jana Sena Party Chief under his production banner. Political analysts said that, the main agenda of Dasari was to join Jana Sena. Now, latest speculations hint that, Dasari will soon join YSR Congress.
