Charmi Kaur’s video post on her Twitter page has kicked up a storm as the actress-turned-film producer made insensitive talk on Corona Virus and its arrival into Telangana and Delhi. Charmi started the brief video with “All The Best Guys. You Know This Why? Because Corona Virus has touched Delhi and Telangana antha. That’s what I heard. That’s what it is there in the news. So, all the best guys. Corona Virus has arrived.”
Charmi looked quite jubilant and celebrating the entering of Corona Virus into India – particularly in National Capital Delhi and Telangana’s capital Hyderabad. Charmi received huge backlash from netizens for her most insensitive video ever. By the time the former heroine realized her faux pas, she has deleted her video. But the damage has already been done. Charmi’s insensitive video at a time when the people are worried over spreading of virus is in bad and poor taste.
It’s high time, celebrities should think twice before posting anything on such sensitive issues.
