The Rebel TDP MLA and the ex-AP Minister Atchannaidu was selected as the state TDP committee president under dramatic circumstances. Atchenna is such a crucial member in the party and he is Naidu’s go to man in Northern Andhra over the years. Though he was done just by the party with the president post, it seems like CBN did give a shocker to this senior leader.
This is all about the swearing-in ceremony of the state committee, which was supposed to be held at the party office, has been postponed. Atchenna would have wanted to do his swearing-in before the Diwali festival. However, it was too late to call Chandrababu to talk about the same thing. It is being said that CBN concluded that he can’t attend the swearing-in-ceremony on which Atchenna has huge hopes.
Reminding that the corona virus is on the rise again, Chandrababu suggested that the swearing-in ceremony should be made simpler rather than the pre-planned grandeur. The sources say that he said that it is also advisable to hold the event in a function hall other than the state party office. This really left Atchenna baffled at the end.
It is customary for the entire working group to be sworn in at the party office and now Babu advised to go with it in a function hall despite there being this huge party president office. It is already alleged by the Atchenna followers that Chandrababu did this unilaterally in the formation of the state executive council without even saying a word to Atchenna. So, let’s see how this ends.
