Can This Friday Mark Another Hero’s Comeback?

Siddharth used to be one of the most wanted actors in Tollywood a few years ago. However, couple of flops and a few controversies allegedly forced him to shift his base to Kollywood. In the last few years, he had tried to release his hit dubbed films in Telugu, but he couldn’t get the reception he hoped for. After a long gap, Siddharth is hopeful of winning back the Telugu audiences with his new film, ‘Gruham’.

Titled ‘Aval’ in Tamil, the film has released there two weeks ago itself, and won universal acclaim, and generated good revenues as well. Siddharth actually wanted to release the film in Telugu simultaneously but the delay in producing Censor certificate forced him to postpone the release twice. At last, the film is gearing up to hit screens in the Telugu states this Friday.

On the bright side, the Tamil version has already become a hit and generated decent buzz for the Telugu version to catch up on. The horror genre always has a section of audience, who don’t bother much about the cast. The biggest problem for Gruham however is competition at box office. As many as 14 films, including small and dubbed, are slated to hit screens this Friday. Siddharth couldn’t get as many theatres as he wanted because of the competition.

The ‘Bommarillu’ hero however is confident that ‘Gruham’ will make its presence felt amidst this mad rush, and announce his comeback to Tollywood, as content is the king on any day. Two weeks ago, we have witnessed the comeback of senior hero Rajasekhar.
