CAG is not Bhagavad-Gita says CM

The short discussion on power crisis in the state has turned out to be a war of words between the ruling and opposition parties while chief minister admitting that there was scarcity of power in the state but slammed the opposition on the cag report.

“cag report is not Bhagwadgita, Koran or Bible. They give their report we will give the explanation. It need not be taken that seriously,” he said. There is crisis in the state and we are addressing to it, he said.

The issue came up when TDP member P Kesavulu pointed out that CAG has reported that Genco rates are higher.

Transport minister Botsa Satyanarayana also agreed that there was crisis in power sector and steps are being taken to ease the crisis.

Meanwhile, the Left parties held dharnas across the state in protesting against the power charges.
