Telugu thriller Kshanam is getting bigger day by day. The latest is that well-known Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is going to remake the film in Hindi. Reports are rife that Sajid bought the film’s rights and an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Buzz is that Sajid is contemplating to rope in Superstar Salman Khan for the lead role. Story of a NRI who returns home to search his former girlfriend’s missing daughter, the film is declared as blockbuster in Telugu. Made in a shoe-string budget of Rs 1.01 Crore, with an additional publicity cost of Rs 1.4 Crore, the film managed to rake in over 5 Crore only through theatrical release in AP and Telangana.
Sajid Nadiadwala in the past bought the remake rights of Ravi Teja’s Kick and he remade the film in Hindi with Salman which turned out to be big hit. Now Sajid is hoping to recreate similar magic with Kshanam remake. Especially post Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman too keen on doing concept films. If Salman picks Kshanam, it’s going to be big news.
